Travel tips: while you're there

The most important thing to remember while traveling is that, unless you are using the Nucleus Freedom processor,  moisture or perspiration can damage your external components. If you travel to a place that’s hot and humid, remember to periodically take off any components worn close to your skin, such as a behind the ear (BTE) speech processor, and wipe off excess moisture.

Also, always carry along items that will help protect your processor from getting wet, such as those listed in Make sure to pack section.
