What is HOPE?
Habilitation Outreach for Professionals in Education
Research has found that children with a profound deafness experience better outcomes when implanted with a cochlear device as early as 12 months of age.1 And with the proper support from parents and educators, children have the opportunity to develop at an age-appropriate rate.2
Cochlear's HOPE Program
Our HOPE program was initiated in part due to a growing percentage of children with cochlear implants entering mainstream school, where the faculty may not be fully prepared to deal with their special needs.
