Two Ears are Better than One

The world of sound is all around us.  It happens quietly and loudly, in stereo and surround sound.  Having a cochlear implant in one ear can help provide a connection to this sound.  And having two cochlear implants – one for each ear – may be one more step toward providing the kind of full-world sound, communication and interaction that nature intended.
