The 2nd Annual Cochlear Celebration, a gathering of Nucleus cochlear implant recipients and their families, is being held this year in San Antonio, Texas - and features an exclusive party at SeaWorld.
This year, Cochlear Celebration features two celebrations in one! The 2nd Annual Cochlear Celebration marks the beginning of Cochlear’s 25th Year Anniversary, and we are pleased to announce that Professor Graeme Clark, the inventor of the multichannel Nucleus cochlear implant, will be on of our special guests at the event this February. We hope that you too can join us for this historic occasion.

Professor Graeme Clark made the cochlear implant a reality by drawing from his own personal experiences. His story is one of true dedication and inspiration.
Along with Professor Clark will be two other special guests coming from Australia:
The first recipient of the multichannel cochlear implant, Rod Saunders. Rod received his implant in the late 1970s, and through his dedication has helped to pave the way for thousands of others.
Cochlear’s first employee and current Chief Scientist, Jim Patrick. Dr. Patrick is responsible for helping to make speech processing technologies more usable and accessible for Nucleus cochlear implant recipients. Dr. Patrick continues to make significant technical contributions.
